Gold Fever--The True Story of California's Gold Rush is a historical documentary that was created to preserve legacy Gold Rush information for future generations of Californians.  It incorporates archival information and original art from the National Archives, the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Libraries to depict the relevance and significance of California's Gold Rush in United States history.  This 30-minute documentary describes the discovery of gold and the hysteria it created that launched one of the largest mass migrations in American history and established California as the 31st state.
